Year 1 (Giraffe)
Watch the Magic Grandad clip on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/
and draw a picture, write 3 facts from what you have seen and write 2 questions to ask Samuel Pepys using a ? mark.
Sort a selection of objects around the home based on materials – plastic, glass, card, paper, metal. Make a tally chart of these materials.
Make a fire inspired picture, thinking about the colours you will use.
Continue to read for at least 10 minutes each day and complete the phonics packs or Great Fire of London family learning tasks.
Practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s – forwards and backwards!
Practise reading and spelling the Year 1 common exception words (found in the back of home learning).
Year 2
Use a computer program to make a piece of art.
Make a puppet of a character from Little Red Riding Hood and re-tell the story.
Write the story of Little Red Riding Hood but with a different ending.
Write a letter apology from the wolf.

Continue to practise times tables (2, 5, 3 and 10).
