Year 3 have enjoyed a drama and writing activity based on the book, ‘Street Child’ by Berlie Doherty. They had a ‘conscience alley’ where ‘Jim’, the main character in the book, walked down.
Each class member told ‘Jim’ a reason why he should or shouldn’t escape from the workhouse. They had to use a subordinate conjunction in their reason. They then wrote the sentences into their books.
