Time capsule update:
Next week’s opening of the time capsule, scheduled for 4th February at 6pm will have to be postponed. Since it was brought to our attention last month, we have had a tremendous amount of help looking for the capsule and wish to thank everyone concerned so far.

- we checked the school log and consulted previous head teachers and staff
- pupils and ex-pupils brought in metal detectors
- we have done a lot of digging by hand
- even more digging with a digger
- a radar scanner was brought by Interserve to deep scan the area over several 
  days - and there was more digging.

We are determined to locate the capsule but have discovered that since the original burial it may have been moved by contractors who were building the Children’s Centre, so the search continues.
