Our Year 2 children had an amazing Victorian school day.
They were given a Victorian name, and took part in a range of Victorian activities including:
Excercise drills
A hand and nail inspection
Victorian handwriting using ink and a brush
Learning and reciting a poem (The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear)
Nature study
Drawing Queen Victoria using oil pastels
Writing times tables on a chalkboard
Baking and tasting bread and butter pudding
The children's behaviour was excellent in our strict Victorian classrooms.
