As part of our Arts Award, the children from Y2 had the opportunity to see the work of local artist, Pauline Townsend. Pauline is a silk painter who explained to the two classes how she creates her exquisite art work using silk, gutta and silk paints.
The children were able to see examples of her work and to ask questions such as what inspired her work and how initially she became an artist.
