The Year 5 children visited the ‘Hoards: a hidden history of ancient Britain’ exhibition at the Buxton Museum.
This is the first time a lot of the artefacts are being exhibited so we were very lucky to be some of the first people to see them.
We spent time looking at the ancient coins, pottery, weapons and jewellery and then had a go at being archaeologists ourselves! The children were able to view various artefacts around the museum and then take part in team activities.
