Miss Carver's letter3 April 2020 (by Jane Sparkes (admin)) |
Miss Carver sent her class a special letter and photo, she asked them if they could write to her about their pets (real or imaginary).
It read:
Dear Children,
I’m so excited! I applied to Chester Zoo to help with looking after their animals during the closures. You see their zoo keepers can’t get to work. I first applied to foster a giraffe but I was turned down because my garden is too small.
So, my exciting news is that I am fostering a Grevy’s Zebra called Nadine! She fits well into my shed at night and by day eats my grass, a good job as it was starting to get too long!
I’m so excited to have a pet at last!
What have your pets been up to?
Love from Miss Carver
