Monday 3rd February
Year 3 had a busy start to the week with forward rolls in gymnastics, working up to forward rolls into a straddle and a sequence of a balance, a roll and a jump.
In science they explored soil, how it is formed and how important it is. They looked at three soil samples and compared their appearance, texture and moisture. They learned that in a handful of soil there are more micro-organisms (tiny living things) than there are people on earth. They even saw some of these living things trying to make their escape!
