Monday 1st July 2019
The Year 5 children took part in a Countryside Learning experience. Among the activities were: Moors for the Future - healthy peat bogs; United Utilities - water cycle and clean water; Peak Park Ranger Service - fire watch; upland sheep farming; habitat management and wildfires; wildlife management for moorland diversity; and Police - rural crime.
This was a very informative day and the children had a good time.
