Children at school25 June 2020 (by Jane Sparkes (admin)) |
This week, the children have enjoyed exploring the conservation area. They identified plants, pond animals, removed weeds and built dens.
The Jolly Giraffes have enjoyed their dinosaur themed week. Our children have been reading outside in the shade. Year 1 used different coloured sugar paper and made some beautiful nature pictures.
Most of the children have been fortunate in visiting the woods, keeping their cool in the shade, they even built dens too! Year 3 and Year 6 had a socially distanced impromptu Macarena (or was it a McNamara?) dance off!
Year 3 children have been learning about right angles. They went on a right angle hunt outside, working out whether shapes had none, one or two or more right angles.
